Macondo Trio

Macondo Trio explores groove in all its forms, with influences from jazz, African music and the Arab world.

The meeting between Beninese drummer Angelo Moustapha and Belgian saxophonist Sylvain Debaisieux marks the beginning of this rich collaboration. Nourished by their early musical experience, they share a love of rhythm and develop a common language during artistic residencies in Belgium and Benin.
